Heaven got a new angel early thursday morning. today we reflected on what a wonderful mother, wife, grandmother, artist, seamstress and cook she was. thank you for giving us the perfect example of how to be a lady. and thank you for leaving behind such a legacy. thank you for making the world a better place. we miss you already. but i know you are in a place far greater than we can imagine. so this is not goodbye, this is see you soon!

Dirk and the rest of the team took their talents to South Beach and Your Dallas Mavericks are 2011 NBA Champions. Finally. Sweet, Sweet Victory.

The American Airlines Center watch party sold out in 31 minutes. The stadium that the game was not being played in was more populated 30 min before tip-off than the stadium in Miami. We jumped around, yelled and were rowdy, proud and LOUD with 20,000 of our closest friends as we watched Dirk and Jason Kidd FINALLY hold that trophy over their heads. We watched as Dirk FINALLY won Finals MVP. We all watched as the Mavericks FINALLY got what they deserved. And I couldn't have asked to spend that moment with better people. The whole time it was happening, all I kept thinking was "this is one of those 'I'll always remember what I was doing when ____' moments". It was a moment Dallas has been waiting for since 1980. And I dont think there has ever been a goup of more deserving players.
